Landlords Gas Safety

This week was full of boiler servicing, breakdowns and a plethora of landlords gas safety certificates!

As a landlord it’s law to have all gas appliances checked annually and a gas safety certificate issued, this is the responsibility of the landlord and not the tenant. Even if the appliance is actually the tenants, it still needs to be checked!

I found a dead bird behind a fire which has been emitting quite a smell !

Next week I’m on a boiler diagnostics and multi meter training course at Baxi, I’m looking forward to it, it helps to keep me up to date with repairing current boilers on the market.

My weekend starts now at 18:00 Saturday as I worked all day today, installing an anthracite designer vertical radiator in a new position, moving a gas pipe, a water meter, an outdoor tap and ran new pipe work in position for an American Fridge all at the same property. I’ll be back in just over a week when the kitchen fitters are finished put in the hob, sink and washing machine.
